Jun Jin is a Ph.D. student in Statistics at University of Connecticut; research in the statistical learning method for data holding large n and p; developer using R and Python.
Jun Jin received a BS in statistics in 2019, from the East China Normal University, advised by Dr. Zhou Yu. He is now pursuing the Ph.D. in statistics at the University of Connecticut from 2019 to present; his Ph.D. advisors are Dr. Kun Chen and Dr. Jun Yan.
Jun Jin is a statistician focusing on all the theory, method and application. In theory aspect, minimax and concentration are in his top interests. In method aspect, he is now focusing on the sufficient dimension reduction and transfer learning. When it comes to the application, he is now the research assistant in the Complex Fluids Lab and Uconn health.
